Akosua Serwaa runs into trouble

Lawyer William Kusi, representing Akosua Serwaa in her ongoing legal battle against Daddy Lumba’s second wife, Priscilla Ofori, also known as Odo Broni, has revealed that he has been receiving threats to his life.

Speaking on Orange FM, Lawyer Kusi said he has been getting anonymous calls and text messages from unknown numbers since taking up the high-profile case.

He added that some messages go beyond verbal threats, with the senders allegedly threatening to release compromising bedroom photos and videos of him if he does not withdraw from representing Akosua Serwaa.

“I receive calls and messages from unknown numbers threatening my life,” he said. “Some of them even say they will release private videos and pictures of me if I don’t step away from the case.”

Lawyer Kusi also revealed that the threats have extended to his family, claiming that his wife has been targeted with warnings of harm should he continue in the case.

He described the situation as terrifying and unacceptable, emphasizing that no lawyer should face intimidation for performing their professional duties.

The revelation has sparked concern among the public, with calls for the Ghana Police Service to investigate and provide protection for Lawyer Kusi and his family.
