Ameyaw-Akumfi takes NPP campaign to Techiman North, calls for massive turnout
Professor Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi, a stalwart of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), recently took his campaign efforts to Techiman North, his home constituency urging constituents to rally behind the party and its candidate Martin Gyarko Oti, in the upcoming elections.
In a passionate address to supporters, Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi reminded the crowd of the importance of every single vote, emphasizing how even a small margin could determine the outcome of the elections.
“We cannot afford to be complacent. A single vote could be the difference between victory and defeat. Come out in your numbers, and let’s secure a resounding win for the NPP,” he said, drawing loud applause from the gathering.
The former Minister of Education’s appeal was underscored by his roots in the constituency as he recounted his connection to Techiman North and the progress made under the NPP. He urged voters to continue supporting the party to ensure the continuity of development projects in the area.
Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi was joined on this campaign trail by notable figures, including former Bono East Regional Minister Kofi Amoakohene, former Bono East Regional Chairman Thomas Adu Appiah, and former Techiman North District Chief Executive Hon. Peter Mensah. Their presence underscored the collective effort by the NPP leadership to galvanize support in key constituencies.
