Another Kotoko fan dead
Sad news has come from Berekuso, near Aburi, where the body of Nana Kofi Amoah, also known as Otumfour Nana, has been found under troubling circumstances.

Amoah, who was a devoted supporter of Asante Kotoko and an officer with the Ghana Immigration Service, had been missing since Thursday, July 3rd. After several days of searching, the worst fears were confirmed when his body was found with several injuries.
His brother, Akwasi Amoako, spoke to MyJoyOnline and confirmed that his body had multiple stab wounds on the chest and neck.
Adding to the horror, parts of the body appeared to have been burnt. Reports suggest that the body may have been wrapped in a woolen carpet—possibly in an attempt to hide or destroy evidence.
The body was found along the Abuom-Abokobi road, deepening the shock surrounding the incident.
In a related development, the Kwabenya Circuit Court, on Monday, July 8, 2025, remanded a 36-year-old man into custody. He is said to be a friend of the deceased and is currently being investigated in connection with the case.
