Bawumia has a deep commitment to improving the lives of Ghanaians – Akosua Manu
Akosua Manu, the New Patriotic Party’s 2024 parliamentary candidate for Adentan, has described Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as a leader focused on genuine national development rather than personal ambition as the party prepares for its upcoming presidential primaries.

Speaking ahead of the NPP’s presidential contest scheduled for January 31, Manu said the former Vice President’s leadership has always been driven by integrity, strong ideas and a clear sense of responsibility towards improving the lives of Ghanaians.
She said his track record in public service shows a firm commitment to national development based on principles and not self-interest.
According to Manu, who also works as an aide to Dr Bawumia, the former Vice President has shown a clear vision for Ghana’s future through policy innovations and reforms aimed at modernising the economy and strengthening public institutions.
She explained that these initiatives highlight his long-standing commitment to progress and inclusive growth.
Manu added that Dr Bawumia’s leadership style is marked by credibility and the courage to pursue bold ideas in the national interest, even when faced with political challenges.
“Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s character reflects a genuine dedication to national progress, not personal ambition. Integrity and ideas have consistently guided his leadership, and he has a deep commitment to improving the lives of Ghanaians,” she said.
