Bawumia might get 91% Of NPP delegates – Here is how

A new survey by Global InfoAnalytics has shown that an overwhelming majority of New Patriotic Party members do not see religious and ethnic affiliations as important factors in the party’s flagbearer race.

Ethnic and religious arguments have been a feature of the NPP presidential campaign, with some aspirants encouraging delegates to consider dominant ethnic and religious groups when choosing a flagbearer.

But Global InfoAnalytics, in its detailed analysis of the latest survey, said most NPP delegates do not view ethnicity or religion as important when deciding on a presidential candidate.

“We asked them about the importance of religion; how important was it. 4% said it was important, neutral 5% and not important 91%,” the Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, Musa Dankwa, said.

He added, “We have seen a sharp decline in those who say religion is not important. In the last period it was 13%. It is now down to 4%.”…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
