Bawumia pulls 23 out of 25 in Ashaiman and Tema East

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has continued to build momentum ahead of the upcoming NPP presidential primaries, receiving fresh endorsements from the Greater Accra Region.

During his regional tour, electoral area coordinators from two constituencies publicly declared their support for him.

In Ashaiman, 21 out of 32 electoral area coordinators endorsed Dr. Bawumia, explaining that their decision followed consultations with polling station executives who also back him to lead the party into the 2028 elections.

Later in Tema East, 23 out of 24 polling station executives unanimously pledged their support. One of them stated, “We are here as coordinators to declare our unflinching support to you, Your Excellency the former Vice President and the incoming President in 2029, in shaa Allah.” They added that consultations with coordinators guided their decision and affirmed that Tema East is firmly behind Dr. Bawumia.

Dr. Bawumia, widely tipped to win the NPP primaries, has been steadily receiving endorsements from electoral area coordinators nationwide.
