Bees attack NDC supporters in Kpandai, one dead

One person has died following a bee attack on National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters in the Kpandai District after a campaign event on Sunday, December 14.

The incident reportedly happened shortly after the NDC concluded its campaign activities in the area.

According to the party’s Kpandai Constituency Secretary, Mr. Robert, the situation was unexpected and caused panic among the gathering.

The deceased, believed to be a traditional leader from one of the communities, was riding a motorbike when a swarm of bees attacked him. In trying to escape, he reportedly dismounted and fled, but lost his life amid the chaos. The exact circumstances of his death remain unclear.

Some residents have suggested spiritual causes, describing the incident as a curse, though these claims are unverified.

Authorities are expected to investigate to determine the precise events.
