Belinda Sarkodie shot dead in Canada

A Ghanaian woman living in Canada, Belinda Sarkodie, has been tragically shot and killed by unknown assailants.

According to media reports, the incident happened while Belinda was waiting at a bus stop on Hamilton’s King Street. She was reportedly checking herself in a mirror when she was shot in the head.

Two other people were also caught in the shooting—one died at the scene, while the other survived.

An eyewitness told Bigscout Media that Belinda may have been an unintended victim, possibly hit by a stray bullet during what appeared to be a gang-related shootout.

As of the time of reporting, Canadian police had cordoned off the area as investigations continued. Reports also indicate that Belinda had no known relatives in Canada.
