Big Akwes in trouble as ex-wife exposes him

Freda, the wife of popular Ghanaian comedian Big Akwes, has revealed how she was allegedly deceived into marriage with what she described as a “fake and cheap” wedding ring.

In a video shared on August 24, 2025, Big Akwes’ ex-wife used her experience as a warning to other women.

“My prayer is that no man should propose to you with this useless ring,” Freda said as she displayed the ring. She explained that the ring, which Big Akwes gave her during their secret wedding in 2023, had already worn out.

What hurt her most, she said, was that she had personally bought a better-quality ring for the ceremony. “This ring, which costs €15, has brought me troubles and subjected me to endless insults from social media users. I got all this, while I even sent a better ring for the occasion,” Freda added.
