Legendary Ghanaian highlife artist Kwadwo Akwaboah has passed on to glory.
Kwadwo Akwaboah passed away on the morning of Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
He was born into a music family by his musician father and he birthed musician Akwaboah Jr.
He is the man behind the forever classic song “Awerekyekyere” which is one of the greatest love songs ever recorded in Ghana.
His song Akwaboah Jnr also rose to become a great highlife artist who continued his legacy even when he was aliveZ
The cause of death of Akwaboah Snr is unknown.
