Chelsea fan Paul Merson has shared his prediction for the Chelsea vs Everton Premier League match this weekend.

Merson, an Arsenal legend and a known Chelsea supporter, is someone many people check for score predictions because he often gets them right.

Chelsea and Enzo Maresca are currently struggling after failing to win any of their last four matches in all competitions. Because of this poor run, they have slipped to 5th place in the Premier League and 13th in the Champions League.

This weekend’s game against Everton has now become very important for Maresca, the players, and the whole club. They need a win, and it must be treated as a must win match.

“Everton have looked good in recent weeks, apart from that shocking loss at home to Newcastle United. They went to Bournemouth and won quite comfortably – something Chelsea failed to do in their last league game. If Maresca wins this game, he can play his fringe players in the Carabao Cup quarter-final against Cardiff City on Tuesday. But if he doesn’t, he will be forced to play his strongest team in that game.

“Moises Caicedo is unavailable for this match. I’m still going to back Chelsea for the win. But I must admit that I went with Chelsea mainly because I support them. This will be a tight game.
