It shows just how influential he is, both as a creator and a goalscorer for us. In those 5 games and beyond he’s contributed directly to a ridiculous number of points for us. We shudder to think where we’d be without him.
Tonight illustrated exactly what makes him so good. It’s just a ruthless confidence to hit the ball at goal early – and of course, most importantly, effectively.
There are some talented players in this group, but there are none with the combination of confidence, decision making and technique that Palmer has to make him such a productive player in both creating and scoring.
