Daddy Lumba’s former teacher Mama Acheampong in trouble
The family of the late Theresa Abebrese, former girlfriend of highlife legend Daddy Lumba, is reportedly considering legal action against his godmother, Mama Acheampong, over comments she made regarding the couple’s breakup.
In a video circulating online, a woman identifying herself as a relative of Theresa described Mama Acheampong’s version of events as false and misleading. She urged the public to disregard the godmother’s claims.
Mama Acheampong, in a recent interview on Angel FM, had claimed that Theresa and Daddy Lumba remained deeply in love even after he travelled to Germany. However, according to her, Theresa’s father arranged for her to marry a wealthy man during Lumba’s absence, effectively ending the relationship.
This account has drawn backlash from Theresa’s family, who argue that the claims distort the truth and tarnish her memory. They insist that the narrative put forth by Mama Acheampong does not align with actual events and are weighing legal options to protect their late relative’s legacy.
