Daddy Lumba’s song thanking Odo Broni, her twin during his health struggles suddenly goes viral

The demise of the Ghanaian highlife legend Daddy Lumba has plunged the country into sorrow. Already, the head of the family, Kofi Owusu, has stated that the family would recognise both Priscilla Ofori Atta, alias Odo Broni, and Akosua Serwaa as widows during the funeral rites.

A song currently making waves on social media in the aftermath of this is Daddy Lumba’s popular tune Nya Abotare Twen Awurade. The song, released in October 2023, celebrated Odo Broni for sticking by him and being a good wife and companion through his tribulations.

He opened up about his health struggles and touched on the massive support he received from his second wife throughout that period.

Daddy Lumba also expressed his appreciation to the twin brother of Odo Broni, Prince Ofori Atta, for his support when he was not well.
