EBO Noah declared wanted by police

Police in Elmina have declared self-styled prophet Ebo Noah wanted after a Liberian national travelled to Ghana, allegedly acting on his viral prophecy predicting a global flood, MyNewsGh.com has confirmed.

Police sources told MyNewsGh.com that on December 18, 2025, the Elmina District Commander, Chief Superintendent Abraham Bansah, directed a team led by Assistant Superintendents Lawrence Anane and Augustina Quainoo to locate and arrest Ebo Noah for interrogation. The operation, however, was unsuccessful as the suspect could not be found and his whereabouts were unknown at the time.

The police team later visited the homes of Ebo Noah’s parents, but he was still not located. His parents were questioned, along with neighbours who are familiar with the life of the fast-rising social media figure.

A fresh manhunt was launched following an incident on December 25, 2025, around 7:40 p.m., when a Benya FM radio presenter, identified as Sofo Blessing, reported to the Elmina District Police Headquarters with a Liberian national named Paul Telly Jalloh.

Jalloh was taken to the station after he travelled from Liberia to Elmina, claiming he was coming to join Ebo Noah’s ark.

According to police, Jalloh said he travelled to Ghana after seeing social media posts attributed to Ebo Noah, which claimed a worldwide flood would occur on December 25 and that safety could only be found by joining an ark in Elmina or Takoradi.

Residents in Elmina who know Ebo Noah told police that he is a native of the town but denied claims that he is a prophet or that he owns any form of ark.

During interrogation, Jalloh told police he first came across the prophecy on social media and international news platforms, including CNN and the BBC, around June 8, 2025. He said he initially travelled to Takoradi, then passed through Accra and Cape Coast before finally arriving at Elmina Beach in search of the supposed ark, only to realise that no such thing existed.

Following the interview, the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) Immigration Department was informed. Immigration officials have since profiled Jalloh and started processes to repatriate him to Liberia to reunite with his family. He remains in police custody while arrangements are completed.

Police say investigations into the alleged prophecy and the whereabouts of Ebo Noah are ongoing and are being led by Chief Inspector Jonas Solee. Further updates will be communicated as the case develops…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
