Ebo Noah’s mother in trouble after recording begging video
Ebo Noah’s mother has sparked widespread outrage on social media after appealing to prominent Ghanaians to intervene in her son’s ongoing prosecution and help secure his release.

Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, a private security guard, content creator and self-styled prophet, was arrested on December 31, 2025, by the Special Cyber Vetting Team of the Ghana Police Service. Reports indicate that the arrest was carried out on the orders of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno.
In a video that went viral on January 5, 2026, Ebo Noah’s mother was seen and heard making an emotional plea on behalf of her son. She called on several high-profile individuals, including the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, former President Nana Akufo-Addo, President John Dramani Mahama, actress Nana Ama McBrown, and the IGP, to show mercy and intervene in the case.
“Nana Osei Tutu, Nana Addo, President Mahama, Nana Ama McBrown, please, we beg. The IGP and the Ghana Police, we see all the good works you are doing. What Ebo Noah did was not right,” she said.
She admitted that her son’s actions were wrong, explaining that the videos he posted online about building an ark were fabricated and misleading.
“All the videos he recorded about building an ark were fabricated; he does not even have enough money for something like that. He played with the hearts of Ghanaians and believers, which was wrong,” she added.
However, her appeal has not been well received by many Ghanaians. Following the circulation of the video, social media users have strongly criticised her, accusing her of attempting to use influence and connections to interfere with the justice process.
Many commenters argued that the law should take its course, insisting that no one should be above the law, regardless of who they know. Others questioned why influential figures were being mentioned in a criminal matter, saying it undermines public confidence in the justice system.
The video continues to attract heated reactions online, with opinions divided between sympathy for a worried mother and calls for accountability over Ebo Noah’s actions…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
