FLASHBACK: Sick delegate on oxygen votes in Berekum east for NPP

A New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegate who is seriously ill risked his life on Saturday to cast his vote in the party’s primaries to select new parliamentary candidates for the 2024 elections.

The voter, a young man believed to be in his 30s exercised his franchise in the Berekum East constituency.

DailyNewsGhana.net gathers from Adom TV’s report that the sick voter was ‘wheeled to the voting center in a taxi’ and ‘he had an oxygen mask on and a tank in the vehicle’.

He was in the company of two male nurses and two others believed to be his relatives.
