Flashback video of Akufo-Addo with some cash suddenly pops up
A video showing former Ghana’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, receiving money from someone during a public event has gone viral online.
The incident reportedly occurred during the commissioning of the Flower Pot flyover in Accra, where the President was captured on camera pocketing cash handed to him.
The footage has sparked mixed reactions among Ghanaians, with some accusing the President of accepting a bribe, while others insist it was a harmless gesture.
Critics argue that the President should not be seen taking money in public, as it could easily be misinterpreted. Others, however, claim there was nothing wrong with the act, saying it is common for leaders to receive or give money as part of social interactions.
