Former MP proposed to Odo Broni (Video)

Priscilla Ofori Atta, the second wife of the late highlife musician Daddy Lumba, also known as Odo Broni, has drawn admiration from former Member of Parliament for Adenta, Kojo Adu Asare, following the musician’s burial.

In an interview on Asempa FM on December 17, 2025, Kojo Asare described Odo Broni as a very beautiful woman and disclosed that he is currently unmarried.

He said he would be interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with her after she completes the traditional one year widowhood rites following Daddy Lumba’s death.

According to the former MP, if Odo Broni decides to enter another relationship after the rites, he believes he would be a suitable person to consider.

“Odo Broni is an exceptionally beautiful woman. I admire her, especially her calm and gentle nature. I feel drawn to her and would like to pursue a meaningful relationship with her after she completes her widowhood rites. It’s not about marrying her to have children together; rather, I want to help raise her six children and also preserve Daddy Lumba’s legacy,” he stated.

Kojo Asare also criticised individuals who have attacked Odo Broni amid her dispute with Daddy Lumba’s first wife, Akosua Serwaa, describing the insults directed at her as unfair.

He further expressed his desire to marry Odo Broni, assist in raising her six children, and help protect the legacy of the late musician.

Daddy Lumba’s final funeral rites were held on December 13, 2025, at Heroes Park in Kumasi, several months after his death at the Bank Hospital in Cantonments on July 26, 2025, following an illness.

The burial ceremony was attended by notable personalities including Nana Acheampong, Dr Osei Kwame Despite, Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong, Kennedy Agyapong, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, and Dr Frank Amoakohene.

Family members present included Daddy Lumba’s children, his younger sister Faustina Fosu, Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu, and his second wife Odo Broni.

However, the late musician’s first wife Akosua Serwaa, his elder sister Ernestina Fosu, close associate Papa Shee, and some immediate family members were absent after a failed attempt to secure an injunction against the funeral amid a dispute over burial arrangements…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
