Frmr A/R Minister’s wife couldn’t hold on the pain breaks down in tears in trending video

Former Ashanti Regional Minister Dr Samuel Sarpong passed away in the tragic Ghana Army helicopter crash at Adansi Akrofum in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

The Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was among eight individuals whose lives ended in the unfortunate incident. Defence Minister Edward Omane Boamah, Minister for Environment, Science, Technology, and Innovation Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, Deputy National Security Coordinator Limuna Muniru, and Former Parliamentary Candidate for Obuasi East Samuel Aboagye were among the victims of the tragic helicopter crash.

Army personnel members Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manin Twum-Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah also tragically passed away.

Following his tragic passing, footage of Samuel Sarpong’s wife in an emotional state at their residence has emerged on social media.
