Ghanaian students taking part in the BECE
The GES releases the dates for the 2024 WASSCE and BECE exams, which implies that schools should start registering their students.
With a letter dated February 5th, the Ghana Education Service (GES) announced the exam dates for the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The letter was copied to heads of basic and senior secondary schools across the country as well as directors of education at all levels.
The exam times are listed below in a letter dated February 5, 2024, that DailyNewsGhana copied:
July 8–12, 2024 for BECE
July 1–August 31, 2024, for WASSCE
According to GES, in the upcoming weeks, the heads of the schools will receive comprehensive information from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) about how to register applicants for the exams.
