The Ghana Education Service has requested that regional heads submit a list of newly hired teachers in their respective regions.
According to the statement, there will be no biometric registration, so the staff IDs will be processed and paid by the end of May.
A statement sighted by DailyNewsGhana.com reads: We wish to inform all Regional Directors that the Staff Identification Numbers for the newly recruited in 2023 are ready. Kindly bring it to the notice of all newly recruited staff that there will be no biometric registration and hopefully their salaries will be paid at the end of May 2023.”
“In view of this, we humbly request that you submit all processed new entrant forms promptly to the Payroll Unit, GES Headquarters, by 24th May 2023 to avoid delay in salary payment.”
