The popular Nigerian artist Davido has provided fascinating insights into the cultural distinctions between Ghana and Nigeria, illuminating the reasons why many people identify more with the former.
Davido compared Ghana to California and Nigeria to New York, drawing comparisons between the two well-known American states and West African countries.
Ghana is a popular destination for people looking for a more tranquil and laid-back culture and plenty of holiday alternatives, he said, highlighting the country’s charms.
“Due to the lack of population and space, people travel to Ghana more frequently. In a conversation, Davido said, “There is more vacation time.”
But Davido also recognized that Nigeria has a distinct dynamic that combines good and bad elements.
“But if you are trying to eat everything in one, you want to see the bad part, the great part, and everything. Go to Lagos. Everything is in that Lagos,” he added.
