Ghanaian men ranked most faithful men in West Africa

According to a recent report by Africa Fact Zone, Ghanaian men have been named the most faithful in West Africa when it comes to marriage.

The report noted that although studies generally show that 30% to 60% of married people—especially men—are likely to commit adultery, Ghanaian men appear to stand out, showing greater levels of faithfulness compared to their counterparts across the region.

While the survey praises Ghanaian men for their loyalty, it does not provide specific statistics or the exact data points used to support the claim. This lack of detail has raised questions about how the conclusion was reached and whether the findings reflect the reality on the ground.

Interestingly, data from Ghana’s Statistical Service paints a more complicated picture. Recent figures show a rising number of marital separations and divorces in the country, many of which are linked to issues of infidelity. This contrast between public perception and actual statistics has sparked discussions on the real state of relationships in Ghana.

Despite the recognition, some observers believe the report might not tell the full story, especially in a society where cheating often remains hidden or unreported due to cultural and social pressures.

Still, many Ghanaians have welcomed the news, proudly celebrating the positive portrayal of Ghanaian men, even as others call for more transparency in the survey’s methodology.
