Ghanaian Prophet drops prediction- Advises NPP in trending video

A popular Ghanaian prophet, Tabiri, has sparked debate with a declaration on the outcome of the Akwatia by-election.

In a video sighted by DailyNewsGhana on Poku1 TV, the man of God claimed that revelations in the spiritual realm pointed to a clear advantage for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to Prophet Tabiri, the NDC had “done something spiritually” that gave them the upper hand, though he declined to provide details. He cautioned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to take immediate countermeasures if they hoped to secure victory.

“Every town has a spirit that rules over it; they should appease the spirit in Akwatia,” he said, urging the NPP to act swiftly.

His comments came as thousands of voters in Akwatia went to the polls on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, to elect a new Member of Parliament following the death of Ernest Kumi.
