Ghanaian woman dies in Canada after allegedly using ‘yesu mogya’

A Ghanaian woman in her mid-30s has reportedly passed away in Canada after engaging in prolonged fasting and allegedly relying heavily on a substance called ‘Yesu Mogya’ (translated as Jesus’ Blood).

Reports indicate that the woman had been fasting for several weeks, during which she is said to have consumed only ‘Yesu Mogya’—a liquid believed by some to possess spiritual and healing properties.

The deceased, whose name has not yet been made public, is believed to have ingested significant amounts of the substance throughout her spiritual exercise.

According to a narration shared by another Ghanaian woman in a viral video, the woman’s body was found in her apartment located in Toronto, Ontario. It appeared she had been dead for several days before her body was discovered.

Her death has raised concerns regarding the dangers of extreme fasting and the use of ‘Yesu Mogya’, which has gained traction among some Ghanaians both locally and abroad.

Members of the Ghanaian community in Canada are said to be in shock following the news, with calls being made for increased awareness about the health implications of intense spiritual practices.

In the viral video, a woman is heard advising people to consider their health and safety, particularly when involved in religious activities that may carry physical risks.
