GRASAG-UCC congratulates Prof Kofi Davis on appointment as GES boss

The leadership of the Graduate Students Association of Ghana at the University of Cape Coast (GRASAG-UCC) has congratulated Professor Ernest Kofi Davis on his appointment as Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES).
Prof Kofi Davis was appointed by government to replace Dr Samuel Nkansah.
According to GRASAG-UCC, the appointment of Prof Kofi Davis is a “reflection of your dedication and extensive expertise in advancing education”.
Until his appointment, Prof Kofi Davis was the Provost of the College of Education Studies at the University of Cape Coast.
“Your journey, from humble beginnings to becoming a trailblazer in mathematics education inspires us,” a statement on Monday, January 27 said.
“We are confident that your deep knowledge in education will foster transformation and progress within Ghana’s education sector.”
GRASAG-UCC pledged its support and expressed readiness to collaborate with him “to promote quality education and opportunities for all Ghanaians”.
