It was an emotional moment when Ghana’s First Lady, Mrs. Lordina Mahama, arrived with her children for the second day of the three-day national mourning for the victims of the recent helicopter crash.

The First Lady broke down in tears when it was her turn to lay a wreath in memory of the eight people who lost their lives in the tragic accident on August 6 in the Ashanti Region.
She was supported by her children, including Farida and Sharaf, as well as top government officials such as Julius Debrah. Despite the deep sorrow, she managed to get through the ceremony.
