Here is how Cristiano Ronaldo reacted to Rui Patricio retiring from playing football

Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted to the retirement of Rui Patrício from football.

Ronaldo congratulated the goalkeeper on a great career and also thanked him for his service to the Portuguese national team.

Patrício announced the end of his 19-year football career in a post shared on the official Instagram page of the Portugal national team.

Responding to the post, 40-year-old Ronaldo, who is the captain of Portugal, sent a message to the 37-year-old:

“Thank you for everything, Rui! Congratulations on your career!”

Rui Patrício made 108 appearances for Portugal after getting his first national team call-up in 2010.
