A terrifying armed robbery attempt at a residence in Lakeside, Accra, was bravely foiled by a young man who faced off with three armed attackers using nothing but his bare hands.

The dramatic incident unfolded when the robbers stormed the young man’s home, targeting him and his mother. According to his account, the robbers were armed and aggressive, but he chose not to back down.

He recalled a moment when one of the robbers pointed a gun directly at him. Instead of retreating, he stood his ground and told the gunman he was not afraid, daring him to pull the trigger. Surprisingly, the robber fired into the ground rather than at him.

That bold move led to a physical struggle between the young man and the robbers, causing a loud commotion that caught the attention of neighbours nearby.

The neighbours responded quickly and rushed to the house to help. In the chaos that followed, one of the robbers was killed, while another was injured and arrested with the help of the young man and residents.

The third suspect managed to escape and is still on the run. Police investigations are ongoing.
