Hundreds turn out for successful Mefri Adadientem Walk organised by Barima Ofori Asante

Hundreds of residents and supporters on Sunday February 1, 2026, thronged the streets of Adadientem to participate in the Mefri Adadientem walk, successfully organised under the leadership of the Chief of Adadientem, Barima Ofori Asante, with the support of his elders.

The well-coordinated community walk brought together people from all walks of life, including youth groups, women’s associations, traditional leaders and visitors from neighbouring communities.

The event, which has become an important fixture on Adadientem’s cultural calendar, aimed at promoting unity, peace and collective development within the community.

Clad in branded T-shirts and walking through principal streets of the town, participants demonstrated strong support for the vision of the traditional leadership, turning the event into a colourful and vibrant spectacle. The high turnout highlighted the growing popularity of Mefri Adadientem and the trust residents have in the leadership of Barima Ofori Asante.

Speaking after the walk, Barima Ofori Asante expressed gratitude to the people of Adadientem for their massive support and commitment to community activities.
