Husband demands GHS 60K from nursing student caught in bed with his wife

The husband of a married nursing student who was recently caught in an alleged infidelity incident is demanding GHS 60,000 from the male colleague involved.

Information gathered indicates that the demand was formally submitted to the community chief after the husband reportedly found his wife and her male classmate in their matrimonial room.

The issue was later referred to traditional authorities after community members arrested the male student.

The husband is said to have told elders that he entered the house unexpectedly and found the two together, restraining the male colleague when both allegedly attempted to escape.

During the confusion, the wife reportedly fled, while the male student was detained until others arrived.

Sources in the community say the GHS 60,000 is being demanded as compensation for the alleged act and the humiliation suffered by the husband.

The demand has, however, generated debate among residents, with some questioning whether the amount is reasonable.

Checks also indicate that the accused male student is believed to come from a modest background and may not be able to meet the financial demand.
