I am not supporting the culture of insults; we all have weaknesses, but Ken is the best – NPP MP

Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso and a leading member of Kennedy Ohene Agyepong’s campaign team for the New Patriotic Party’s January 31, 2026, presidential primaries, Dr Stephen Amoah, has said Kennedy Ohene Agyepong may not be perfect, but he is a doer.

According to the former Deputy Finance Minister, Kennedy Agyepong, the former Assin Central MP who is seeking the NPP flagbearership, has clearly demonstrated that he is action-oriented.

He said, “I am not saying that Kennedy is perfect. He is not perfect. He has his shortcomings, but he is a doer. Kennedy has built his entrepreneurship and his career. I am not supporting the culture of insults; we all have weaknesses. But let’s look at the quality of policies Kennedy is bringing onboard. All the candidates are very strong, but the 2028 election is not about individuals but the NPP’s chance of winning.”

Speaking in an exclusive interview on UTV’s Adekye Nsoroma on Thursday, December 18, Dr Amoah said it is in the best interest of NPP delegates to vote for someone with a proven record of job creation and youth employment.
