I thought Kennedy was going to win by 60% – Nyhiaeso MP

Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, Dr Stephen Amoah, has expressed surprise that Kennedy Agyapong did not win in the constituency during the New Patriotic Party flagbearer race.

Dr Amoah said he had expected Mr Agyapong to record a comfortable victory based on the work done by his campaign team in the area.

“It’s very surprising because I thought Kennedy was going to win by 60%,” Dr Amoah said.

According to the lawmaker, the level of effort and visibility of the Ken Campaign in the constituency had created expectations of a different result. He noted that the outcome did not reflect what many observers on the ground had anticipated.
