I’m sorry – Daddy Lumba’s Abusuapanin apologised to Odo Broni
Kofi Owusu, the family head of the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba, has made headlines again following the singer’s passing.

In a recent interview with Kontonkyie TV, the elderly family head retracted his earlier criticisms of Daddy Lumba’s widow, Odo Broni, and publicly asked for forgiveness.
Kofi Owusu clarified that Odo Broni had properly fulfilled all traditional obligations and officially informed the family of the musician’s death. He confirmed the passing of his beloved relative and praised the widow for showing respect to customary practices.
Although he admitted he doesn’t know Odo Broni personally, he noted that Daddy Lumba’s siblings speak highly of her character and conduct.
Expressing regret for his previous comments, Kofi Owusu asked for forgiveness and urged Ghanaians to support the family as they prepare to lay the legendary musician to rest.
