I’m sorry – Elon Musk apologizes to Donald Trump
It seems the waters are finally calming down between Elon Musk and President Donald Trump after a wordy feud between the two on social media.

In a surprising turn of events, the Tesla CEO Elon Musk has publicly apologized for controversial posts about U.S. President Donald Trump, admitting they “went too far.”
In a post on his X, the tech billionaire wrote that he regrets some the things he said about Trump in the heat of the moment.
“I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far,” Musk wrote on X.
The controversy started after Musk trashed Trump’s ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ claiming it will crush Americans. In subsequent posts he called Trump a liar after the president claimed Musk was in on it.
Things went extreme after he claimed on social media that Trump appeared in the unreleased Jeffrey Epstein files, a statement lacking evidence and drawing widespread backlash.
Trump’s retaliatory response on Truth Social included threats to cut government subsidies and contracts benefiting Musk’s companies, notably SpaceX, which holds $14 billion in NASA contracts, as detailed by Reuters on June 8, 2025
