The Ghana Police Service has assured residents of Kumawu and its environs in the Ashanti region of a peaceful by-election on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
According to the Police, adequate security arrangements have been put in place to maintain law and order as well as ensure peace and security before, during, and after the Kumawu constituency’s be-election.
“Adequate Police personnel has been deployed to Kumawu and the other communities within the Constituency to support the local Police to provide security for the election,” Director Public Affairs, ACP Grace Ansah-Akrofi explained in a statement dated May 22, 2023.
