Kwabena Agyepong ‘exposes’ Kennedy Agyapong

NPP presidential aspirant Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has stated firmly that the peace pact signed by all five aspirants on Thursday contained no errors, contrary to claims by Kennedy Agyapong.

There was tension during the signing of the pact when Kennedy Agyapong signed the document reluctantly.

He raised objections, saying he had identified some errors in the agreement.

However, responding to a delegate’s question on whether the document had errors, Kwabena Agyepong countered Kennedy Agyapong, insisting there was no error.

He said the same document had been given to them before the NPP 2023 presidential primaries.

He also revealed that the latest document was shared with all aspirants, including Kennedy Agyapong, days before the signing ceremony.

“The document we signed was the same document which was part of our filing forms. It was the same for the last primaries. We signed the same document but because it was not made public, one of us decided to leave the party after the election.”

“So, the feel this year is that if it is made public and everyone signs publicly for Ghanaians to see, you cannot say you reject the results and you’re leaving,” Kwabena Agyepong explained.

He stressed, “So, there was nothing new in the document. They sent the documents to us well ahead of time and I looked through it thoroughly. It was the same documents attached to our filing form, so there was no error. There was nothing like that.”
