Late Ayawaso East MP’s final resting place causes stir online

The final resting place of the late Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Naser Toure Mahama, has been revealed following his burial in Accra on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Naser Toure Mahama passed away after a short illness on Sunday, January 4, 2026. The sad news was officially announced by the MP for Ayawaso North, Yussif Jajah.

The four-time MP, who had represented Ayawaso East since the 2012 general elections, died while receiving medical treatment at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

After his burial service, respected Islamic scholar and broadcast journalist Mallam Fary shared a video on his official TikTok page showing the late MP’s burial site at the Madina cemetery.
