Man depressed as his girlfriend said “l’m with my boyfriend l’ll talk to you later” when he phoned her around 10pm

A young man says he is currently feeling depressed after an unusual experience with his girlfriend.

According to him, he called his girlfriend around 3pm while returning from work, but she did not answer the call.

After getting home, he went to the kitchen to prepare food for himself and later spent time working online.

He said he finished his work around 10pm and was still waiting for his girlfriend to return his call.

Becoming worried about her safety, he decided to call her again to check on her.

He explained that when she finally answered, she told him, “l’m with my boyfriend l’ll talk to you later,” and ended the call immediately.

He tried calling her back several times, but she did not respond. She only called the next morning and told him it was a prank.

In a WhatsApp status post, he wrote:

“You see Women ehhhhhrn. Let me tell you my own story.
My girlfriend called in the morning to checkup and we vibed before l go to work.
I called back around 3pm to hear from her but she couldn’t pick up. I do not have trust issues when it comes to this girl because she gave me enough reasons and proofs she isn’t that type who sleeps around or multidate.”

“After preparing some meal for myself, l went online to do some works while waiting for her call but she couldn’t call back as at even 10pm.
I became worried and call again but her yam phone line isn’t going through so l tried the smartphone and it went through, l was relieved to hear her voice that she is safe without knowing it is the beginning of my mental struggles.”

“Long story short. She said to me “I’m with my boyfriend, l’ll talk to you later” and hang up the call immediately. My people, l called back and she didn’t pick up, her phone was off when l placed the third call. This girl call the next morning, look me as mumu and told me it was a prank.
