Man unalive his wife during argument over how to prepare yam

NIGERIA – A husband has allegedly killed his wife during an argument over a tuber of yam.

The suspect, identified as Joshua Okafor, is accused of killing his wife, Charity, in a fit of anger following a disagreement.

The incident reportedly occurred at Nsokkara in the Ezza South Local Government Area, and the suspect is currently on the run.

The deceased, Charity, is said to be from Awkuzu in the Onicha Local Government Area. The couple had been married for 17 years.

Reports indicate that the dispute started over how the yam should be prepared for a meal.

The wife wanted the yam roasted, while the husband insisted it should be cooked.

After Charity went ahead to roast the yam, Joshua allegedly became angry, dragged her into a room, locked the door and beat her until she died…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
