Meet the African lady who dated King Solomon – See the country she is from

Africa does not get a lot of attention in the Bible, but it is interesting to know that the powerful, wise, and wealthy King Solomon had an African queen as his wife.

The Queen of Sheba, Malikat Saba, once visited King Solomon and brought him spices, precious stones, and gold. She also learned about Solomon’s wisdom and asked him difficult questions, which he answered well.

She came from the Kingdom of Sheba, an African kingdom located in East Africa, in what is now Ethiopia.

The Bible says King Solomon gave her everything she wanted. After spending some years together, he continued to grant her requests.

Out of kindness, Solomon invited her to his house, as the land of Sheba had resources more valuable than gold.
