Meet the best graduating student of Ghana School of Law 2025

A graduate of Kwame University of Science and Technology has been crowned the Best Graduating Student of Ghana School of all among the 824 Lawyer-in-waiting who were called to the bar.

The Modern age women have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that they were not meant for the kitchen alone; they are taking over all aspects of production from Media to photography, to engineering works, and most of them are venturing into the noble profession, the practice of Law.

Law was a profession dominated by men, but now women are showing more interest in that sector, too.

In the History of Ghana, 3 women have risen to the highest level of practicing law by becoming the Chief Justice of Ghana’s Supreme Court of Law. The first Georgina Theodora Wood (2007-2017), Sophia Akufo (June 2017-December 2019), and the last female Chief Justice is Her Lordship Getrude Torkonoo (June 2023- September 2025).

On October 10, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Center, 824 Lawyers-in-waiting were called to the Bar, and the Overall Best Graduating Student was a Female.

Latifa Teiya Fuseini was announced the 2025 Overall Best Ghana School of Law Graduate. Out of the 824 Lawyers-in-Waiting being called to the Bar, she emerges top of the class and drew loud cheers from the audience.

She was given a citation and a prize for that great feat.
