Meet the Northern Regional MP of the year

Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu, Issah Atta, has been named the Northern Regional Member of Parliament of the Year for his outstanding performance both in Parliament and within his constituency.

The first-time MP received the honour at the Northern Excellence Awards (NExA), held over the weekend.

The Northern Excellence Awards, organised annually by the Celebrities Charity Development Foundation, celebrates individuals and organisations making notable contributions to the socio-economic development of Northern Ghana.

The awards recognise excellence across various sectors including health, academia, politics, philanthropy, sports, showbiz, and the arts. The initiative is aimed at highlighting and promoting development-oriented efforts and achievements in the region.
