NDC is panicking because of the decision we took – Wontumi

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Bosiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, says the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is panicking over the NPP’s presidential primaries being held nationwide.

Speaking in an interview with JoyNews on Saturday, January 31, 2026, he said the NDC is closely following developments and feels unsettled by the direction the NPP has taken.

“Actually, the NDC is panicking because of the decision we took. This exercise, the NDC is monitoring, and they are panicking, they are panting. So, after today, all the problems of the NPP will start going down, and we will give all the problems to the NDC to inherit,” he said.
