NDC MP dead

Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso East Constituency, Naser Toure Mahama, has died.

He was a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mr Toure was born in Nima, Accra, on March 17, 1965, and entered Parliament in 2013 after winning the seat in the 2012 elections.

During his time in Parliament, he served in several key roles, including as Vice Chairman of the Energy Committee.

He was also a member of the Roads and Transport Committee, the House Committee, and the Private Members’ Bills and Motions Committee.

Friends and sympathisers have begun sharing tributes in his honour.
