NPP Flagbearer Primaries: Be careful – Justin Kodua warns all

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, Justin Frimpong Kodua, has urged the party’s presidential aspirants to show restraint and maintain unity as the NPP prepares for its flagbearer primaries on January 31, 2026.

Speaking at the signing of a peace pact by the aspirants, he reminded them that the contest is not a battle but a way to determine the level of support within the party.

“This contest is not a war. It is only to show whether you have the support of the party or not. When you win, you still need the support of your brothers to carry on and win the election in 2028,” he said.

Justin Frimpong Kodua also warned against any form of misconduct during the primaries, stressing that security agencies will be on high alert to ensure order.

“I want to use this medium to send a strong caution to any person in our party or outside our party who has any intention of discrediting or trying to mar the beauty of our democracy, come January 31.
