Okudzeto Ablakwa asked to resign

Ghanaian gospel musician Evangelist Diana Asamoah has shared her thoughts on the buzz surrounding President John Dramani Mahama’s recent trip to Japan and Singapore, following rumours that he chartered a private jet.

The rumours began after Old Tafo MP, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, alleged on social media that a private jet with registration number M-BAEP was being used for the president’s travels.

Speaking on Angel FM’s morning show, Diana Asamoah playfully mocked President Mahama for supposedly boarding a private jet, reminding listeners of how some members of his party harshly criticised former President Nana Akufo-Addo for the same issue.

“The other day, it was said that John Mahama chartered a private jet just like the way my father, President Akufo-Addo, did when he was president,” Diana Asamoah said.

She further referred to North Tongu MP, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who had once vowed to resign if John Mahama ever used a private jet. “Our brother, Okudzeto Ablakwa, said that he would resign should John Mahama use a private jet for his trip. The time has come for him to fulfil it so that Ghanaians can believe him,” she added.

Meanwhile, the president’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Stan Dogbe, has debunked the claims. He explained that President Mahama did not use a private jet but rather flew commercially from Accra to Japan and Singapore…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
