Reports available to us indicate that a Church building belonging to Word In Action Church at Old Bortianor has collapsed.
Eyewitnesses say there were 7 members of the Church who were in the building at the time of the collapse.
Although all seven have been rescued, one of the victims is in critical condition.
Before filing this report, officials of the Ghana Fire Service and the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) were at the scene to ascertain the extent of the damage and also provide the needed support for the victims.
It is not clear currently what caused the prominent Church building’s collapse but members of the community who are moving to the scene in their numbers are worried for their lives.
