Popular female musician involved in fatal car accident

Limpopo music star Melita “Kharishma” Mogale, popularly known as the First Lady of Lekompo, was involved in a fatal car accident in the early hours of Friday, October 31, 2025, at the corner of Grobler and Magazyn Streets in Polokwane.

The 21-year-old “Inama” hitmaker was reportedly rushed to the hospital after sustaining serious injuries, while her driver sadly lost his life at the scene.

The crash, which happened around 4 a.m., has shocked fans across Limpopo, with social media flooded with messages of support and prayers for the young artist’s recovery.

Police say investigations are still ongoing to determine the actual cause of the accident.

Shortly after the crash, Kharishma made a social media post hinting at witchcraft, writing, “Witchcraft is for real.” The post has since sparked wide discussion among her followers, with many linking it to the tragic event.
